COVID-19 Update: How We Are Serving and Protecting Our Clients

Business Operations

Our office is closely tracking the rapidly evolving public health and community concerns related to the new coronavirus or COVID-19. Please know that we are taking all available steps to remain open and maintain essential services while abiding by local, State, and National mandates for limiting social interaction and sheltering in place. In so doing, our office is now fully remote, having implemented measures to conduct our work and provide consultations over the phone and through Zoom, a web-based video conferencing tool. By being fully remote, our office is able to stay open during normal business hours. We are monitoring our e-mails and phone messages and will try to return your calls within 24 hours. If you have any questions about the status of your case or legal matter, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail our office.

New Clients

We are still accepting new clients. If you are interested in a free phone interview regarding your matter please give us a call. Our paralegal will obtain all of the relevant information regarding your matter, an attorney will review the facts, and you will be advised within 24 to 48 hours if it is a matter our office can assist with or not. Alternatively, we can arrange paid consultations by phone or video conference.

Court Operations

Due to the rapidly evolving situation in our community, guidance regarding COVID-19 is subject to change. Court operations vary depending on jurisdiction. However, most courts have enacted some form of closure, postponement, suspension or cancellation of proceedings. If you have any questions about court proceedings in your matter, or if you have questions about scheduled depositions, mediations, or other ongoing matters in your case, please check with the attorney handling your matter for more information.

The Future

While things may be uncertain and always changing, please know our office is doing everything we can to continue to provide essential services to you. Please feel free to reach out to us any time at jfbeasley@jfbeasleylaw.com or (706) 769-4410 for assistance with your employment matters. In the meantime, please practice social distancing, wash your hands, be considerate and kind to others, and stay informed. Together and as a community we will work through this difficult time.
