COVID-19 Update: How We Are Serving and Protecting Our Clients

About Us

Law OfficeJF Beasley, LLC is a dedicated “employment law” firm established in 2011 by its owner and manager John Beasley. John has been practicing law for more than 25 years. He has spent more than 20 years counseling employees, executives and small employers on employment matters of all kinds. He has also served as counsel in trials of cases under some of the most challenging anti-discrimination, employment, civil rights and commercial laws including the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Sarbanes Oxley Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, state and federal racketeering statutes and securities laws.

John also has expertise and courtroom experience in numerous other laws affecting our nation’s workforce. For example, John is regularly in court representing our military service members on employment claims under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act or USERRA. He has also represented groups of employees challenging mass lay-offs under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, also called the WARN Act. On a smaller but no less important scale, John regularly represents employees in unemployment claims for benefits they deserve and to which they are legally entitled.

John’s experience includes years working in Atlanta at a “big city” practice as well as work in smaller communities like Athens and Watkinsville, Georgia. In establishing our firm in Watkinsville, John brings his practice closer to home where his wife teaches at the University of Georgia and his children attend public school. Still, the firm is a statewide urban and rural practice and we strive to make the Atlanta, “big firm” experience accessible to Oconee County and the surrounding communities. If you have concerns over: Sexual Harassment; Discrimination; Disability and Medical Leave; Overtime Pay or Hourly Wages; Military Leave; Severance Negotiation; EEOC Charges; Retaliation for Whistleblowing; Wrongful Termination or any other employment related matter our firm can help. Over the years, John has been successful trying cases and achieving results in all of these areas and more. These successes have included dismissals of cases he has defended and settlements and trial victories with substantial payouts.

But even if taking a case to court is not something you care to do, our firm offers services in negotiation, mediation and arbitration. John is a trained and State registered mediator so if your case is an employment dispute, John’s experience in the law and in evaluating claims and remedies can help you get your case settled without the necessity of going to court.

It is a goal at JF Beasley LLC to provide quality client services, which means the ability to have your case reviewed promptly and the option to speak to a real person. That is why we employ a dedicated staff including an intake coordinator-client liaison. If an attorney is unavailable to assist you, our coordinator will take your call and ensure that your case is reviewed by an attorney and that you receive a call back within 24 hours.
